Momentum Solar panels and equipment

Momentum Solar offers solar panels and equipment from a variety of brands, but it only installs Tier 1 solar panels. This helps ensure that customers receive a solar energy system that is both efficient and durable. To qualify as a Tier 1 solar panel manufacturer, a company must have been producing panels for more than five years, have fully automated production and have a high degree of vertical integration.

Momentum Solar installation

Momentum Solar’s installation process features five main steps:

  1. Consultation: Schedule a free consultation with one of Momentum’s solar specialists, who will review your energy needs and answer any questions. These consultations can take place over the phone or through Zoom.
  2. Design: The solar specialists will finalize the design of your solar energy system. These experts will create a unique system that is suited to your home and needs.
  3. Permitting: All required paperwork and permits are handled by a designated project manager. This includes paperwork needed by your city and local utility company.
  4. Installation: The formal installation process takes approximately four to eight hours. It includes a shade assessment and a full demonstration of how to start and shut down your new system.
  5. Activation: Momentum Solar will request “permission to operate” from your local utility company or municipality. Once this permission is received, you’re ready to start generating solar energy.

Momentum Solar services

Momentum Solar has an exclusive partnership with Enphase, which allows it to offer solar energy storage solutions for residential customers. These systems store excess energy produced by your solar panels for use at a later time, usually due to a power outage caused by extreme weather.

Equipment options include the Encharge 10, Encharge 3 and Enpower Smart Switch systems.

Momentum Solar costs

Many factors influence Momentum Solar costs, including the shape of the roof, the size of the home and which direction the roof faces. Larger systems are more expensive upfront but produce more electricity, which saves more money over time. There are also many federal, state and local tax incentives available to defray the cost of installing solar power.

You can get a better idea of how much Momentum Solar will cost by requesting a free online quote. For more specific information, you can meet with a Momentum Solar specialist to discuss options.

Financing

Momentum Solar offers customers four financing options: purchase, loan, lease and power purchase agreement (PPA).

  1. Purchase: You own your solar panel system and can see immediate monthly savings on your energy bill.
  2. Loan: Customers borrow money to buy the panels and receive the power produced.
  3. Lease: Momentum Solar owns and installs the panels. The customer leases them and receives all the power produced.
  4. PPA: Momentum Solar owns and installs the solar panels and customers buy back the power produced.

Momentum Solar warranty

Momentum Solar provides a 25-year equipment and workmanship warranty on its solar systems.
